Awareness and action are needed to change a culture. We’re hopeful and grateful that you see the humanity of the women we support. There are many ways to act in the community to help facilitate a culture shift. A critical step is to talk with others about the problem and get involved in supporting exploited people.
Where can you help?
Do you like to cook? Delicious meals and treats are prepared and delivered each week by our outreach team. Please consider joining our meal and treats ministry team.
Prayer is the most important work of Peace Promise. Join us for First Friday Prayer, a monthly gathering holding up the work of Peace Promise and the women we support.
Fundraising activities are held several times a year. It takes many hands to host a successful event. Let us know if you’d like to lend yours.
We have a very selective and stringent process for participating in our outreach and life-skills training teams to the women. Reach out if you’d like to talk with us more about our outreach efforts.
You can raise awareness and act in the anti-sexual exploitation culture by hosting a film screening of “Nefarious: Merchant of Souls” or “Liberated.” Or perhaps you’d like to invite a Peace Promise speaker to share the local story with your group. Contact us for dates and scheduling.
Change Purse™ is our sister organization and fundraising vehicle for Peace Promise. You can host a Change Purse™ event at your home, church, or organization. You can also become a Change Purse™ Partner by collecting gently used purses for upcoming events.
Please contact us and let us know how you’d like to be involved.
Thank you for your compassion and commitment to care!
We look forward to partnering with you in this critical mission.
